Preparing for next IVF and transfer
Our surrogate got her period recently and started her birth control pills. This has been a long time coming for us. I had an ultrasound today and everything looks good. The continuous birth control pills, while taking a toll on my mood and emotions, are doing their job to deplete the endometrial lining on my ovaries, which is the reason I have been on them for several months now. Feeling a bit paralyzed
It's been really hard to blog lately. Not much going on with my own personal journey and my mood hasn't been upbeat at all. I've been on birth control for three months now without any break. The reason is to deplete any lining growing outside of my uterus. It's so ironic. With Asherman's you are doing everything in your power to grow your lining. Now we are trying to stop the retrograde of my period by lessening the remaining lining completely.
