One of my closest friends is the owner creator of the app My Family Food, a unique diet tracking app to track the daily intake of healthy foods for an entire family! Lindsay recently put me in touch with Joy Hawk of Not Just Kale. Joy works with individuals to help them eat healthy and have a healthy lifestyle. I'm participating in her 5 day Fall Detox, which starts tomorrow, to help with my overall health for my egg quality for my next IVF cycle.
I went grocery shopping at Whole Foods this morning to get wholesome ingredients for a handful of recipes that I chose for breakfast, snacking, lunch and dinner for this coming week. Things like butternutt squash soup, mushroom risotto, and fish tacos!
I have to say, everything I chose sounds delicious. The only thing missing from my normal diet are things like, breads and sugars and coffee and soda, which are so unhealthy and are making me feel sluggish and stressed.
I just made some Kale Chips as I am typing this blog post. It was super easy and kale is so beneficial to your health. It's up there with broccoli and actually fights fat and is extremely high in fiber. It's one of the best sources of beta-carotene which is helpful in fighting cancer and heart disease.
Email me for the recipe! You will love it!
