The two week wait is over...drum roll please...

The two week wait has come and gone and today is beta day! We have been on pins and needles all week wanting to know how our surrogate was feeling. Did she POAS, pee on a stick? Was she feeling tired, nauseous, pregnant? It has been an emotionally exhausting two weeks for sure.

 

She calls me this morning to tell me she went for her blood work to have her progesterone, estrogen and beta HCG levels checked. I asked her how she had been feeling. She wasn't really responding to my texts all weekend so I had no idea what was going on with her. So when I asked her how she was feeling she says to me, "how am I feeling...well I'm feeling pregnant!"

 

I couldn't believe it! She then texts me a picture of the digital pregnancy tests she had done on Saturday! So all this time she was being quiet was because she did end up POAS and the result was an immediate positive!

 

We are so thrilled and excited and nervous as hell. We  are hoping the Beta comes back strong. We will have that checked every three days and then an ultrasound done when the beta gets over 1000. We should know those results tomorrow.

 

But we can at least say today that WE ARE PREGNANT!!!
